Chapter 01The inbox
Where your leads start the conversation
Most relationship coaches get buyers from three places. Each one deserves its own first question.
A keyword on a dating Reel
They comment “TEXTS” on a mixed-signals Reel. After the guide, the setter asks what’s going on for them.
A reply to a personal Story
Story replies can be raw. The setter answers warmly, one question at a time, and flags distress.
A Messenger ad for couples
A Facebook ad for your couples workshop opens Messenger. Ask if both partners want to join.
Chapter 02Qualify
Ask these before the call
A setter books calls only for people who pass your fit rule. These questions make the rule, one per message.

Not a fit when
Describes abuse, threats or feeling unsafe: a person takes over right away. Needs therapy for trauma or a mental health condition rather than coaching. Wants to “fix” a partner who doesn’t know about it.
Distress goes to a human, fast
If a lead mentions abuse, self-harm or a crisis, the setter stops and hands the conversation to you at once. It never offers therapy or counseling.
Chapter 03Script
The DM script, ready to copy
Opener after the guide
Right after your flow sends the mixed-signals guide.
Here’s the guide, I hope it helps. If you feel like sharing: what’s going on in your dating life right now?
- Next
- Let them answer at their own pace.
- Why it works
- An open, optional question respects how personal this is.
What they want
After they share their situation.
Thank you for trusting me with that. What would you most want to feel different, a few months from now?
- Next
- Watch for distress words. If you see any, hand off.
- Why it works
- A wish for the future keeps the chat on coaching, not on blame.
Gentle fit check
When their goal is one you coach.
That’s what I help Replace [ideal client] with in my Replace [offer]. Would you feel ready to start working on Replace [result] in the next few weeks?
- Next
- Ready: book. Not yet: agree on a check-in date.
- Why it works
- It asks about readiness, gently, before any price.
Book a private call
After they say they’re ready.
Let’s talk it through on a private call. There’s room on Replace [day] at Replace [time] or Replace [day] at Replace [time]. Which feels better for you?
- Next
- Your calendar, once connected, lets the setter book it in the conversation.
- Why it works
- “Private” reassures someone sharing something personal.
A soft check-in
If they go quiet after a personal share.
Hi Replace [first name], just checking in, no pressure. If it helps, I can send a short note on how Replace [offer] works, with the Replace [price] options.
- Next
- One soft follow-up is enough here.
- Why it works
- Space and a small next step beat a sales chase.
