How we test

  • ManySetter itself: we test it on our own Manychat account, with a second Instagram account writing as the lead.
  • Other tools: our guides and comparisons use vendors’ public pages and docs. We say so, and score nothing we haven’t tested.
  • Dated facts: each vendor price or feature links to its source, with the date we checked it.
  • Honest dates: a page’s date changes only when its content does.

Chapter 05Data

Security & data handling

  • What we store: your account, what you give your setter, your leads’ messages and contact details from Manychat, and billing IDs. Cards stay with Stripe.
  • Connected accounts: Manychat and calendar keys and tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM, with a dedicated key).
  • Sign-in: a 6-digit email code, stored hashed. No passwords.
  • Sub-processors: Vercel (hosting), Anthropic through Vercel’s AI gateway (AI models), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (emails), PostHog (analytics), plus Manychat and the calendar you connect.
  • No training: your content and your leads’ messages never train AI models.
  • Test conversations: they never use your plan’s replies and stay out of your numbers.
  • Deletion: deleting a conversation, setter or workspace removes it right away. To delete your account, email support@manysetter.com: done within 30 days.
